Aba Tibetan-Qiang Autonomous Prefecture is located on the southeastern rim of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the northwestern part of Sichuan Province. It is mainly inhabited by the Tibetan and Qiang ethnic groups.Aba is famous for its beautiful landscape and authentic minority culture.Jiuzhaigou, Four girls mountain,Zoige and Hongyuan grassland,Flower lake are all included in this tour.
Day 1:Chengdu - Mt. Siguniang
Depart from Chengdu in the early morning, en route visit Mt. Balang, grassland and the yaks, arrive Mt. Siguniang / Rilong town, and head to Shuangqiaogou, have supper and stay in Rilong town. Overnight: New Siguniang Mountain hotel.
Day2:Changpinggou Horse riding
(horse-riding costs RMB50-RMB150, excluded, trekking by the footpath is also available.)
Transfer to Changpinggou valley after breakfast, tourists may visit this valley by trekking or horse-riding, you can see the four peaks of Mt. Siguniang and virgin forest, tourists should prepare some food. Overnight in Rilong town.
Horse-riding cost: Depending on your riding distance, Start point to Erdaoping - RMB50, Xiaganhaizi - RMB100, Lianghekou - RMB150, you can negotiate with the horse owner, the price is calculated for round trip. Overnight: New Siguniang Mountain hotel.
Day 3:Mt. Siguniang - Danba-Maerkang overnight in Maerkang (200KM 2,650m)
On the way, get to the Dazhou mansion in Maerkang, visit Zhuokeji village (a residential house of Tibetan tribe leader), take pictures of the great octagonal building.
In the thirties or forties years of the twentieth century, Maerkang was a temple. In front of the temple, there is a largo and flat river rapid with so many white poplars, and it became a season character market. The businessmen came from different Tusi areas and other, and there are so many businessmen came from Han race in Sichuan basin and the people of the Hui clan in Gansu. In beautiful summer time, which with lots of flowers over the mountains. Businessmen, who come from different places, came here. Only one night, flowers cover the entire river valley, so there are many beautiful campers in there. The old people recalled: it is like growing a great deal of fungus in one rainy night. The people called it Maerkang. After the liberation, because of the politicition request, they erected a lot of buildings, so it became a town of special size. The place name is Maerkang. The temple was forgotten for a long time.
In the Afternoon, we will take pictures of people. There is an important business and traffic town in west of Sichuan and east of Tibet; we will take pictures of a strong Kanba man, beautiful Danba woman, healthy old people, sedated abbey, and smart children. Overnight: Maerkang Jiarong hotel.
Day 4:Maerkang-Rangtang 106km ( 3,400m hight)
Overnight in Rangtang
Rangtang is a small county in Aba Tibetan-Qiang Autonomous Prefecture.Near by Qinghai province. Overnight: Rangtang hotel.
Day 5:Rangtang-Aba country
Overnight in Aba (3,200m).
Aba county was located deeply in the grassland.There are some Tibetan original Lamasery in Aba.About 165KM. Overnight: Aba hotel.
Day 6: Aba-Tangke-Roige
Overnight in Roige (3,500m)
The grassland will enjoy your eyes. Then to Tanke for First Turning of Yellow River,About 230KM for this day. Overnight: Roige hotel.
Day 7: Roige-Flower lake-Jiuzhaigou, overnight in Jiuzhaigou200KM, (2,000m)
After breakfast, we will drive to visit the flower lake in the morning; then go to Jiuzhaigou via Chuanzhusi town,sightseeing of Roige grassland on the way. Overnight: Jiuzhaigou Xingyu International hotel.
Day 8:Jiuzhaigou national park overnight inJiuzhaigou (2,000m)
After breakfast, head to the Jiuzhaigou portal and transfer to Jiuzhaigou non-pollution bus, visit Shuzheng and Zezawa Valley; Pearl Sands and Shuzheng Waterfall; Shuzheng, Panda, Chang, Rainbow, Tiger, Rhinoceros Lake and the Tibetan mills. The countryman's local Tibetan culture show is available in evening, the price is about RMB180/person (cost excluded), overnight in Jiuzhaigou.
Day 9: Jiuzhaigou valley - Munigou valley - Maoxian Qiang
Autonomous county.
After breakfast, drive to Munigou valley in Songpan county (Zungchu). The elevation of this valley is not much, so please no worry for the plateau disease, overnight in Maoxian Qiang Autonomous county. Hotel: Maoxian hotel
Day 10: Mao County - Dujiangyan Irrigation System - Chengdu
After breakfast, drive back to Chengdu, en route pass by Dujiangyan Irrigation System, if folks agree, our guide will be happy to lead this visit, or visit on your own, arrive Chengdu at about 15:00 PM, end tour.

1.The temperature varies greatly and sunshine can be very strong, please bring jackets, sunburn cream, medicine for altitude sickness etc.
2.As we travel in Tibet area where the economy much more backward than other place, the diversity food is limited,so we suggest you order food by yourself or take some solid food.Most of local restaurant only can offer the simple Sichuan and Tibetan Dish.
3.The price is just for 1 bed in a standard room, if you want to occupy a whole room you should pay the single supplement for the other bed.
4.For avoiding the altitude sickness, please don`t do violent exercises, drink more water and rest as much as possible after sightseeing.
5.We suggest you don`t go outside of your hotel during the night.
6.Most of the time you will enjoy the beautiful views in the car, and the driving hours are very long in this tour.
7.Tourists should take the high plateau altitude into consideration, if unexpected accident(injury, death etc.) happen, the Insurance Company will compensate according to the regulations not our company.
8.Aba and Ganzi prefecture is short of water, some hotels can not provide enough hot water for bathing but you won't have problems in cleaning your mouth and face.
9.Minor program changes sometimes are necessary, depending on road conditions, weather and availability of room.
