Highlights

Our main objecive is to support animal conservation, to give panda lovers an opportunity to experience in panda rescuing, researching, and caring. Thus, we have prepared the following curriculum for those who are interested in joining this activity.

Panda keeper Experience at Dujiangyan Panda Base

*The driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel/hostel at 7:30Am everyday, then drive to Dujiangyan Base of China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda.

*Honorable Keeper: Clean up bamboos, pick up doppings, wash the enclosures, observe and understand the panda's status and living conditions. Etc. It lasts about 2 hours.

*Science quest: Explore the panda rescue exhibition hall to know aobut stories related with panda rescues. It lasts about 30 minutes.

*Love Feeding: Personally deliver to the pandas, their delicious 'Cake' and fruits, understand panda's feeding habits. 30 minutes.

*Panda cinema: Watch a documentary that shows scientific facts about pandas. To understand how humans portcet them, and how we may live in harmony with them. 45 minutes.

*Panda nutritionist: Prepare food for the pandas and also experience the fun of making the 'Panda's Cake'. 45 mnutes.

*Panda Class: Inviting our experienced panda experts to share their scientific knowledge with us. 45 minutes

*Certificate: Get your panda keeper certificate issued after the activities in the panda park.

*Drive back to Chengdu at about 4:00Pm.

Service included:

1.Transfers between Chengdu and Dujiangyan Panda base.

2.English speaking guide(when group sizes are over 4 pax).

3.Entrance tickets to Dujiangyan Panda base.

4.Panda keeper Lunch at the panda base.

5.Panda keeper certificate.

Service Excluded

1.Panda Keeper experience cost, RMB700/person.

2.Hugging a panda for pictures, RMB1800/person(Optional).

Notes

1.You are suggested to book this tour at least 1 week ahead.

2.We will choose other panda bases to arrange this tour if the program at Dujiangyan Panda Base is fully booked, extra cost 250RMB/pax will be charged as the distance to other panda bases like Wolong or Bifengxia are longer than Dujiangyan.

About Pick-up and drop-off

*Free Pick-up is offered for visitors staying in the hotels/hostels inside the 2nd Ring Road of Chengdu city, 50-150RMB/pax will be charged for pick-up service for those who stay outside the 2nd Ring Road, so please SPECIFY the hotel name and address when you enroll this tour. The tour will end near Tianfu Square of downtown where visitors are dismissed.

*The night before the tour departure about 8:30Pm, a guide will call you directly if you have left us a China mobile number, or he/she will call to the hotel room to inform the pick-up time next morning.

*A message will be left at the hotel front desk if you are not in the room when he/she calls.
