Day tour to Terracotta Warriors and ancient City Wall

After breakfast, our local xian tour guide will pick you up from the hotel or airport to start a wonderful day trip .We will visit the Terracotta Warriors Museum, and City-Wall.

Terra-cotta Warriors Museum

It is about 40 kilometers away from the downtown area of Xian, at east side outskirts of the city, discovered accidentally in 1974, by local farmers who dug the well. This incredible army formation contains more than 8000 soldiers, archers, horses and chariots, guarding emperor Qin's tomb in full battle formation since 210 BC。Each figure is unique ,even today the excavation still continue in 3 pits which are protected by huge arch-shape hangar.

Ancient Xian city wall

It is a famous landmark and symbolic architecture military facility of ancient Xian city that was perfectly well preserved in china. Its original motive was to fortify the city.A moat is still there encircling the entire city-wall.The perimeter of the ancient city-wall reach to 14 KM. Today, tourists can not only walk around on the wall, but also cycle on it. Moreover,the Rickshaw service is provided in part section of the wall depending on the weather condition.
