This special sightseeing tour features a unique and exclusive way to see the Great Wall of China. You will be taken on a trip back in time having the chance to meet Beigou village, small countryside village by the foot of the Great Wall. Totally away from the crowds, this tour takes you to a privileged area only known to locals. Hiking through the forest you will be taken to the farther peak of the Mutianyu Great Wall section without having to deal with noisy and crowded touristic areas. You will be taken to the old Wall in a privileged way with our specialized guide allowing you to see the most secret and exclusive area of the Wall. From the highest tower, you will climb down on the Wall till lowest towers where a pleasant staircase leads you to the bottom giving you the last chance to contemplate the Wall. 1 Day Hiking tour at Mutianyu Great Wall

*7:30am: Meeting your tour guide and group members at the lobby of Beijing Swissotel Hotel before departs to the Great Wall.

*9:30 am: Arrive at Mutianyu and proceed to take the hiking trail, climbing the mountain to The Great Wall special section (about 1 hour and 20 minutes). By reaching the Wall you will be taken to walk along it and enjoy this private section. (4 hours)

*1:30 pm: Start descending the Great Wall from an effortless trail. (as an option you can take the cable car or the toboggan to climb down the Wall, our guide will help you through the process). Then, enjoy a delicious lunch at the base of the Great Wall.

*2:30pm: Our guide will take you back to central Beijing.

*4:30pm: Return to the meeting point and tour is over.

Transportation to the Beijing Swissotel Hotel by Subway:

Please take “Subway line 2” and get off at station “Dong Si Shi Tiao”（东四十条）.

Following the signs for exit C, you will find yourself outside of the Beijing Swissotel Hotel.

Please show the tour guide your reservation name and they will direct you to get on the correct bus.

Note: Subway is highly recommended due to the bad traffic in the morning. Please do not take taxi if your hotel goes beyond 3 kilometers away from Beijing Swissotel hotel.
