Chengdu is so-called the heaven of foodies. We are so proud of it and love to share the secrets of Sichuan cuisines with you in the cooking class! Follow our chef from visiting local market to using a Chinese chef knife and a wok, you will get an inside look of some of the most representing dishes of Sichuan. By the end of the cooking class, sit down and enjoy the delicious dishes you have prepared.

We then do a short drive to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding – be sure to fully charge you devices, they are what we call film/battery killer! It’s a beautiful park where we will the giant pandas, red pandas and if we are lucky we could even see the baby pandas in the Panda Nursery. We come here earlier in the morning so as to see them in their breakfast time and play time!

On the way from the Panda Center to the people’s park, you will have a chance to visit one of the biggest curio & art markets in Western part of China. There are so much for you to explore - jades, painting, carving, embroideries and more. Ever think of creating a piece of Chinese art yourself? Prepare your name in Chinese, or any favorite saying – we are going to do that in the calligraphy & painting class with real artist!

The People’s Park is definitely the best places to immerse in the living of Chengdu. Like locals do every day - join the crowd for square dancing, sit down and enjoy tea in a tea house, try out the Majhong game and you may even have a massage or the bizarre but popular ear picking!
