About Huanshan City
Situated at the foot of Mt.Huangshan in the south of Anhui Province and bordering to Jiangxi and Zhejiang Provinces,
Huangshan is a new city famed as an emerging tourist attraction.
Huangshan City is earlier named Huizhou Prefecture and known in ancient times as Xin’an, was established in July1987. Besides, the Huangshan Mountain Scenic Zone, the new city has jurisdiction over three prefectures and four counties, with a total area of 9,807 square km and a population of 1.5million. Tunxi is the seat of the municipal government.
About Huangshan(Mt.Yellow)

Day1 arriving in Huangshan
Upon arriving, your private guide and vehicle will meet you on standby then drive to the downtown area for sightseeing including nice walk along the bank of the local mother river, lingering in the Old Street which was originally built in Song Dynasty(960 --1279AD) . it is a must for all tourists both at home and abroad, and you willget a feeling of getting frozen in time.Besides, you have the chance to enjoy all kinds of local specialities, arts and crafts. After dinner, transfer to the French Family Hostel in Tangmo Old Village for relaxing and refreshing.
Day2 Aroud Tangmo Old Village
In the morning, your service team will meet your at the hotel hall,visit the Old Village, Then,experience some Chinese traditional handicrafts such as: rubbing from ancient stone tablet, the craving of Ink-stone, process of tofu and rice paper making. Some of them, you could do the DIY. If time and energy permit, you could set out on bike along the country road, passing by the rice field, local sugar plantation, or silk-worm farms.even you have the chance to pick up some organic vegetables from the local farmer’s vegetable garden for your meals. If weather permits, you could enjoy the Granny Dance in the evening, practice Taiji in the morning in Tangmo Old Village.
Day3 From Tangmo Village to Huangshan
In the morning, your service team will meet you and drive you to Huangshan Scenic Area,switch to the Shuttle bus to the cable
car station, then by the cable car up the Yellow Mountain which has been immortalized in the elegant brushstrokes of Chinese landscape paintings.If energy permits, don’t miss the natural masterpiece---Xihai Grand Canyon and the Sun-setting.
Day4 From Mt.Huangshan to next destination
In the early, if the weather ok, your private guide will meet and lead your the
Lion’s Peak for the marvellous sun-rising on the top of
Yellow Mountain. Usually, after dinner on the top, take cable car down the
mouantian and head for the next destination.

The Stinky Mandarin Fish, the Fermented Hairy Tofu are just some classic Hui dishes.

Meishirenjia: located on the Tunxi Ancient Street, it has almost all kinds of local flavors and drinks, some from outside. Here, clients might make their own choices easily from the displayed samples with fixed price.
Wangyitiao: a great place for those who like to try the real genuine local tastes which usually the local people like. Different types of dumplings, wotons, tofu products are all available.

But here we only strongly recommend our clients to buy some small pieces of In-stick in the Hukaiwen Old In-stick factory, some tea from the Tea City instead of Tourism Must--Old Street.
