Day 1 Arrive in Lijiang

Day2 Lijiang-Tiger Leaping Gorge ( B , L , D )

Sightseeing and Activities:First Bend on the Yangtze River,Stone Drum, Tiger Leaping Gorge

From Lijiang, you'll drive about 60KM to the First Bend on the Yangtze River with imposing gorge scenery, and the Iron Chain Bridge in the Stone Drum town. The town of Stone Drum got its name from a large, cylindrical, marble tablet shaped like a drum. The scenery is magnificent as the road running through the Lijiang valley which is filled with wheat fields and drying haystacks. Continue the driving 40KM more to visit the the upper Tiger Leaping Gorge, the deepest gorge in the world. With 34 rapids of the Yangtze River, it is called the Jinsha in this area because you can find gold in the river.

Then, you'll head for the middle part of Tiger Leaping Gorge for your lunch. After a short trekking in Middle Tiger Leaping Gorge,back to Tina`s

guesthouse .Overnight in Tina`s guesthouse

Day3 Walnut grove -Haba Village

Continue your trekking to Walnut grove ,then drive to Haba Village which is a small Naxi village located at the food of Haba Snow Mountain.

Arrive at Haba Snow Mountain Guesthouse in Haba Village. You will prepare for your equipment and acclimatize youself to the altitude(2600M in Haba Snow Mountain Guesthouse.) After lunch, examine your heart rate and blood oxygen content. Learn the knowledge, condition and introduction of the Haba Snow Mountain Climbing.

Overnight at Haba Snow Mountain Guesthouse.

Day4 Haba Village-the Base Camp of Haba Snow Mountain(4200M) ( B , L , D )

Trek up the Haba Mountain for about 15 km to the Base Camp at the 4200 m, which will take about 7 hours, with yaks taking your luggage. You will have picnic lunch in Haba Snow Mountain. You only need to take some water,clothe,necessary food,the other equipment will be transfered by the horses to the Basic Camp.

Base camp altitude indications vary depending on whom you ask but we found it to be at about 4100 m so this is a rather long day and the path can get very muddy. Use good waterproof boots. The walk will take 4-6 hours and is mostly through the beautiful Yunann forest apart from three meadows that you will cross on the way.

Today you will hike up 1500M of the altitude, arrive at the Base Camp in the afternoon. Because of the high elevation, everyone will suffer the different altitude sickness. You should know how to adjust the situation and adapt to the high elevation. If you really feel not very well, please tell your escort.

Note: It is not allowed to sleep before 9:00 PM.

Day5 the Base Camp of Haba Snow Mountain(4200M) - the Submit of Haba Snow( B , L , D )

Get up at 3:00 am, prepare for your equipment, have a simple breakfast, examine your health condition before leaving for the top at 4:00 AM. you will leave most of your luggage at the Camp 1, you just need to take your mountaineering tools, such as the rope, ice axe, ice pick,the bag, some solid food, a warm pot of water, clothe,headlight, climbing equipment for the climbing to the summit of Haba Mountain.

Day6 the Base Camp of Haba Snow Mountain(4200M)-Haba Village-Lijiang(B,L,D)

Sightseeing and Activities:Long Wang Bian Village,Heihai Lake

Trek down from Base Camp to the Long Wang Bian Village, with yaks taking your luggage, visit Heihai Lake with the original forest. After lunch, drive back to Lijiang.

Help of climb: We provide 2-3 professional mountain climbing guide to help you to climb the mountain as the trip over. 6 and 5 people share 3 guides, 4 people share 2 guides.

Certificate: winner will get a certificate from Yunnan branch of China climb association.

Horse transportation: There will be some horses to help you transport the outfits and luggage from Rilong town to base camp. Every three people will share one horse. After climbing the mountain, come back from base camp to Rilong.
